Ildoppiosegno Team 2018-2022

Elena Rausse is a product designer, ceramicist, and assistant in Basic Design at ISIA Roma Design.

She trained as an apprentice ceramicist in her family’s workshop. She is interested in material design, particularly in the expressive-sensory characterization of ceramic materials, biobased materials for sustainability, and social innovation in relation to territorial characteristics and the role of the creative process with ceramic materials in design practice.

Her activities allow her to explore the world of design as a material, investigating the relationship between the language of shapes and their meaning to uncover hidden relationships that influence our daily lives, with the intention of proposing futuristic solutions suited to interact with mental models and cultural signs, forms, and new technologies.

Alongside her academic career, she develops collaborations with various studios and companies, including Arte Brotto, Presotto, Acqua Dolomia, Midj, and since 2018 has been actively collaborating with the Studio IlDoppiosegno in Milan, developing projects with companies such as Samsung and UnitedPets.
