Monica Ferrigno – co-founder Ildoppiosegno

Monica Ferrigno earned a scholarship to attend the IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) in Milan, where she graduated in 1996.

She worked as a designer at the Research Center of the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan, where she contributed to various projects ranging from packaging design and object design to concept design in the automotive sector.

In the three years that followed, she was part of the design team at Gio Style, focusing on new concepts.

Since 2001, she has worked for Fratelli Mariani, a company specializing in metallic fabrics, where she helped create a department dedicated to Architecture and Design, which she continues to coordinate.

She co-founded the design studio “Ildoppiosegno” with Carlo Dameno.

Monica has taught at the Brera Academy and has led various courses at the Politecnico di Milano as a subject expert, a role she continues to hold at the Faculty of Design.

In 2005, she became the Coordinator of the new Transportation Design course at Domus Academy, where she guided two cohorts.
