Carlo Dameno – co-founder Ildoppiosegno

Carlo Dameno, industrial designer, has over 20 years of experience.

Ha collaborated with some of the most prestigious international companies, creating innovative products that combine functionality and aesthetics. Dameno’s career began at the Research Center of the Istituto Europeo di Design (1996-2000), where he coordinated projects for global brands such as Lego Futura, Fiat, Gillette, and Bosch. Here, he also learned to merge the art of design with the practical needs of the real world.

From 2000 to 2011, he worked as a consultant for Design Innovation, a studio specializing in bionic research and concept design, contributing to innovative projects for companies like Piaggio, Tensoforma, and Ariete.

Furthermore, he has taught at universities in Milan, Turin, Madrid, and Zaragoza, influencing the training of new generations of designers.

In 2008, together with Monica Ferrigno, he co-founded Ildoppiosegno, a design studio that combines industrial design with an experimental and creative research-oriented approach. The studio has collaborated with prestigious brands such as Bayer, Samsung, and United Pets, developing projects in the pet accessories sector and beyond.
The Ildoppiosegno studio stands out for its ability to combine research and functionality in an original way; therefore, every product is designed to meet the practical needs of users, without ever sacrificing aesthetics.
